El uso de la coma en español tiene varias funciones . La separa elementos de una lista , como perros , gatos y conejos . También se emplea para llamar la atención del lector : el , por ejemplo , Juan , ¿ vas a venir ? Las oraciones con insertadas entre comas , es decir , , pueden añadirse sin cambiar el sentido . En cambio , la coma ante conjunciones adversativas evita ambigüedad , pero no siempre es necesaria si la oración es corta .
