عند وجود حرف من حروف الشمس بعد اللام، يتم إدغام اللام مع تشديد الحرف التالي.

اللام هي دائماً مطلقة في النطق إلى ما بعد حرف اللام في الكلمة.

اللام القمرية تُحافظ على نطقها عند وجود حرف من حروف القمر بعدها.

الحروف القمرية هي باقي حروف الهجاء، وتختلف عن الحروف الشمسية.

الحروف الشمسية هي جميع الحروف التي ليس لها وجود في القواميس العربية.

الحروف الشمسية هي: ت ث د ذ ر ز س ش ص ض ط ظ ل ن.

عند وجود حرف من حروف الشمس بعد اللام، تُلفظ اللام بشكل كامل دون إدغام.

8

كلمة 'النهار' عندما تُلفظ تستخدم قاعدة اللام الشمسية إذا كان الحرف التالي من الشمس.

الكلمات التي تبدأ بحرف القمر تُنطق دائماً بوجود إدغام للام قبلها.

اللام القمرية تُدغم مع الحروف القمرية وتُشدد الحرف التالي.
