En voleibol, un equipo está formado por 6 jugadores en la cancha.

El saque puede realizarse desde cualquier posición de la cancha, incluso frente a la línea de fondo.

La red puede ser tocada por jugadores durante el juego sin infracción.

El bloqueo cuenta como un toque para restablecer las tres, por eso un equipo puede bloquear tres veces consecutivas.

Si el balón toca la pista dentro de la cancha, se considera fuera.

Un equipo puede tocar el balón cuatro veces consecutivas sin que toque el mismo equipo.

El saque se realiza desde detrás de la línea de fondo y debe cruzar la red.

El balón debe ser golpeado con las manos o los brazos por encima de la red.

Un set se juega a 25 puntos, ganando por 2, excepto el quinto set que llega a 15.

Después de un saque, el balón puede ser devuelto por un solo jugador y luego por otro equipo.
