En astronomía , la exploración del cielo que la luz viaja a gran velocidad . Cuando la Tierra orbita , podemos observar eclipses y sombras que llegan desde el sol nuestras vistas . Las constelaciones están formadas por estrellas distantes cuyas edades y composiciones la ciencia estudia con telescopios y sondas . A veces , se detecta radiación de diferentes longitudes de onda para identificar planetas y materia interestelar , mientras el cielo nocturno parece un mapa vivo .

sistema solar está formado por el Sol y cuerpos que orbitan su alrededor : planetas , lunas y otros objetos . El primero en acercarse al Sol es Mercurio , seguido de Venus y la Tierra . Luego Marte , famoso por su color rojo . En las grandes órbitas encontramos a Júpiter , Saturno , Urano y Neptuno , todos gigantes gaseosos . Entre Marte y Júpiter se el cinturón de asteroides , una colección rocas que describe órbitas alrededor del Sol .
