Una topología de red es la forma en que se conectan los dispositivos ( computadores , impresoras , etc . ) entre sí . Las principales son :

Bus : todos los equipos se conectan a un solo cable principal . Es sencilla , pero si el cable falla , toda la red se cae .

Estrella : todos los equipos se a un dispositivo central ( como un switch o router ) . Es fácil de mantener .

Anillo : los se conectan uno tras otro formando un . La información viaja en una sola dirección .

Malla : cada equipo se conecta con varios otros . Es muy , pero más costosa .

Árbol : combina varias estrellas unidas por un " tronco " principal . Se usa en redes grandes .

: mezcla diferentes topologías según las necesidades de la red .
