The old mansion had been for decades . The once - majestic halls were in darkness , and the windows were boarded up . The front door creaked in the wind , as if it was being slowly pushed open by an unseen hand .

The mansion had been by a wealthy family in the 1800s . It had been passed down through generations , but it had been vacant since the family's fortune was .

One stormy night , a group of friends decided to explore the mansion . They approached the front door , which was slowly being pushed open by the wind . As they entered , they were greeted by an eerie silence .

The air was thick with dust , and cobwebs hung from the chandeliers . The friends were by the sound of creaking floorboards , as if they were being .

Suddenly , a door slammed shut behind them . They were trapped . The friends were filled with fear , and they were being slowly by panic .

But then , a light flickered to life . A figure was standing in the doorway , holding a lantern . The friends were being watched , and they were about to be given a tour of the mansion . . .
