Un de lineales 2x2 se resuelve gráficamente trazando las correspondientes a cada ecuación . Cada recta representa una relación entre x e y , y su pendiente y corte con el eje permiten comparar rápidamente . Al dibujarlas bien , la de las dos rectas da la del sistema , siempre que exista . Si las rectas son paralelas , no hay solución ; si son la misma recta , hay infinitas soluciones . Este método visual complementa otros métodos algebraicos como sustitución o eliminación .
