¿el propósito del día de muertos es alabar a la muerte?

en las escuelas es normal organizar textos conmemorativos de esta fecha llamados "calaveritas literarias"

un altar de muertos tradicional se organiza en 5 niveles

En el primer nivel del altar se coloca azúcar, que representa la purificación del alma de los difuntos.

El segundo nivel se adorna con pan de muerto, símbolo del alimento espiritual que saciará el hambre del viajero que regresa del más allá.

en el tercer nivel se sitúa la fotografía del ser querido a quien se dedica la ofrenda, acompañada de comidas y objetos personales que solía disfrutar en vida.
