NESE (Necessitats Específiques de Suport Educatiu) és un concepte que posa l’accent en la necessitat de rebre suports, no només en una etiqueta.

El DUA és un marc de referència transversal que orienta la planificació educativa per a tothom.

La planificació i treball en xarxa entre docents, famílies i serveis de suport són claus en la resposta educativa.

La atenció educativa a l’alumnat amb NESE busca garantir l’accés, el progrés i l’èxit educatiu des de la igualtat d’oportunitats.

La detecció de necessitats és un procés individualitzat que no implica aportacions de les famílies o serveis externs.

NEE i NESE són termes redundants i poden utilitzar-se indistintament per referir-se a qualsevol alumne.

Les mesures i suports intensius s’apliquen sense planificació o objectius definits.

Les mesures universals són suficients per a tots els alumnes, sense necessitat d’adaptacions o suports addicionals.

Hi ha tres nivells d’actuació en el sistema: mesures universals, addicionals i intensives.

El DUA és una metodologia única i específica que s’aplica només a algunes classes i no afecta la resta de l’aula.
