The Day Before the Speaking Exam

The day before the exam , Kire and Tony together to plan their presentations . Danny reviewed his notes about his last family birthday party and new ideas . Will told everyone that he visited Cartago last weekend and took photos of old churches . Sofia explained how her family New Year ? s Eve with fireworks and traditional food , while Jose prepared a short story about the time he went to a big cultural festival in Liberia . Jennifer her favorite high school hobby ? she painted beautiful landscapes . Brandon described a local restaurant where he tried delicious Costa Rican dishes , and Marco how he learned about famous Costa Rican artists when he was a teenager .

Later , Joselyn about her town and how it changed with new buildings and parks . Suanny talked about a special celebration for her sister ? s graduation and how everyone danced . Miguel a photo of the mountains he visited last summer , and the class listened carefully and helped each other with pronunciation . They laughed when Will a word and used gestures to finish his story . By the end of the class , everyone felt more confident and what to say in their test . The teacher smiled and said they were ready to tell their stories in perfect past simple tense .
