1

I am a person, place, thing, or idea. You can often put "the" or "a" in front of me. Example: Passi City is the center of pineapple production in Iloilo province.

2

I am the action or the state of being in a sentence. I show what's happening. Example: Passi flourished as a major trading hub during the Spanish colonial era.

3

I am a word that describes a noun. I tell you which one, how many, or what kind. Example: Passi is famous for its sweet pineapple.

4

I describe a verb, an adjective, or another adverb. I often end in -ly and tell you how, when, or where. Example: The Passinhons proudly display their cultural heritage.

5

I am a stand-in for a noun to avoid repetition. Think she, it, they. Example: They celebrate the Pintados de Passi Festival every March.

6

I show the relationship between a noun or pronoun and another word, often indicating location (like on, under) or time (like before). Example: The Mayor is giving an interview on his office premises.

7

I am the connector—I join words, phrases, or clauses. Remember the FANBOYS (for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so). Example: Passi's economy relies on both sugar cane farming and pineapple cultivation.

8

I am a sudden expression of emotion or feeling, often followed by an exclamation mark. (Wow! Ouch!) Example: Wow! The costumes at the Pintados Festival are spectacular!
