Si el minuendo es menor que el sustraendo, el resultado siempre se vuelve negativo y no se puede simplificar.

Restar una fracción menor a una mayor da un resultado positivo (ej., 3/5 - 1/2 = 1/10).

Para restar 2/3 - 1/4 se mantiene 3 como denominador sin convertir.

Al restar fracciones, se suman los numeradores y se mantiene el denominador.

Para restar fracciones con el mismo denominador, restas los numeradores y mantienes el denominador.
