Cuando Leo salió al jardín aquella noche , no sabía todo estaba tan silencioso . Caminó despacio mientras observaba las flores , ya casi no se veía nada . De repente , vio una luz pequeñita que parpadeaba cerca del árbol grande .

? ¡ Qué raro ! ? pensó ? . ¿ brilla tanto esa luciérnaga ?

Se acercó para verla mejor , pero la luz desapareció si alguien hubiera apagado un pequeño farol . Leo se quedó quieto , , de pronto , escuchó un zumbido suave .

? ¿ puedo encontrarla otra vez ? ? se preguntó .

Entonces , decidió seguir el sonido , estaba seguro de que lo llevaría hasta la luciérnaga misteriosa . Caminó un poco más y , llegó al final del jardín , vio no una , sino decenas de luces bailando en el aire .

Leo abrió los ojos muy grandes , nunca había visto algo tan hermoso . Las luciérnagas formaban figuras brillantes , si dibujaran estrellas en la oscuridad . Además , parecían moverse al ritmo del viento .

? Ahora entiendo desapareciste ? les dijo sonriendo ? . ¡ Estabas llamando a tus amigas !

Justo en ese momento , una de las luciérnagas se posó en su mano . Leo pensó en preguntarle había ido a buscarlo , sabía que las luciérnagas no hablan . , la luz que dejó en su mano era tan cálida que parecía una respuesta .

volvió a casa , Leo no podía dejar de sonreír , había descubierto que las noches pueden ser mágicas uno se atreve a mirar con atención .
