يجوز أخذ جائزة من المسابقة بشرط أن تكون من مال حلال وبإشراف شرعي.

تجوز المسابقة تنظيمها بشرط ألا تتعارض مع العبادات الأساسية مثل الصلاة والصيام.

لا يجوز في المسابقة وجود قمار أو رهانات محرمة.

يجوز إدخال رهان مالي على الفوز في المسابقة إذا كان الربح مغرياً.

لا يشترط وجود قواعد أو معايير للفوز في المسابقة.

يجب أن تكون المسابقة بنية حسنة وتلتزم الأمانة وعدم الغش.

المسابقات محرّمة في جميع الأحوال لأنها تلهي عن الدين.

يجوز المشاركة في المسابقة أثناء وقت الصلاة.

يجوز نشر أسئلة المسابقة قبل البدء بغش لاستخدام معلومات مسبقة.

المسابقات في الإسلام جائزة إذا كان الهدف تعليم الخير وتطوير القدرات بلا غش.
