1 . oven to 375°F .

2 . Stir together flour , baking soda and . Beat , granulated , brown sugar and in large bowl with mixer until creamy . Add ; beat well . Gradually add mixture , beating well . Stir in and nuts , if desired . Drop by rounded onto cookie sheet .

3 . Bake to minutes or until lightly . Cool slightly ; remove from cookie sheet to rack . Cool completely . Makes about 5 dozen .
