Visc enganxet al fons del mar, no tinc cap, ni boca, ni peus, però tinc molts foradets per on entra i surt l'aigua. Amb aquesta aigua aconsegueixo el meu menjar i l'oxigen que necessito. No camino, no nedo, però puc netejar l'aigua mentre visc.

Al mar floto o em quedo enganxat, tinc tentacles que m'ajuden a caçar el meu menjar, i si em toques, et puc picar! Alguns són suaus i bonics, com els coralls, altres es mouen i suren, com les meduses. No tinc ossos ni cervell, però visc a l'oceà.

Viu enganxada a les roques del fons marí, té el cos ple de porus i l'aigua li porta oxigen i menjar.

Té tentacles amb cèl·lules urticants que utilitza per defensar-se i caçar, i de vegades flota com una campana o paraigües.
