In the morning , I tried to a call with a client , but they preferred to up a meeting later in the week instead . No problem ? I decided to a call with another partner to fill the gap . Then came the real curveball : a conflict in the afternoon schedule forced us to the meeting back by an hour . Strangely enough , five minutes later someone else asked if we could move the meeting , because they wanted to finish earlier . Eventually , management stepped in and decided to the call forward so that everyone could before leaving the office . After that , I had to for Friday because half the team wasn ? t anymore . Just when I thought the day couldn ? t get any messier , we had to off a meeting with the marketing agency due to a last - minute . By the evening , another project was struggling so much that leadership chose to cancel , without even proposing a new date . By the end of the day , my calendar looked like a battlefield ? but at least I had mastered every possible disaster known to humanity .
