Crisis : Surgieron las de Defensa como protesta al proyecto de del , que pretendía reducir y cambiar los . El descontento , sobre todo de los oficiales , llevó a la presentación de un al gobierno . La intervención del rey XIII frenó la reforma y fortaleció la postura militar .

Crisis : Al percibirse la debilidad del gobierno , , socialistas y nacionalistas promovieron una profunda del sistema . Tras el cierre de y la suspensión de garantías , Francesc Cambó impulsó la Asamblea de en Barcelona con el objetivo de crear un gobierno y una nueva . Sin embargo , la escasa participación hizo la iniciativa .
