Una es un conjunto de comandos que se almacena en un lugar especial de Excel de manera que están siempre disponibles cuando los necesites ejecutar .

Para poder grabar una macro es necesario ir al menú , de la cinta de opciones y grabar macro .

Si deseamos colocar un objeto tal como un botón dentro de una hoja de calculo , es necesario ir al menú . En caso de que este menú no se visualice en la cinta de opciones es necesario dar clic en el menú luego , Cinta de Opciones y activar el Menú Desarrollador .

Cuando deseamos que el usuario pueda modificar ciertas celdas de una hoja , es necesario conceder el permiso para que pueda realizar esta acción . Para ello debe ir al menú e ir a la sección .
Posteriormente debe proteger la hoja , en el menú , para evitar que se modifiquen celdas o se borren fórmulas .
