Polsri 1 STORY A. "The Last Train at Platform Seven" The platform felt colder than the rest of the station, silent as if time refused to pass there. Memories struck Evan—falling from this platform years ago, swallowed by darkness. He understood then. He never left this station. The passengers were like him. The doors opened to reveal pale passengers sitting still, staring forward without blinking. Evan tried to step back, but the platform faded, forcing him closer to the open doors. The train moved faster. “This train only goes forward,” the man said calmly. At midnight, the lights dimmed and a train appeared silently from the dark tunnel. Footsteps echoed behind him, but when Evan turned, the platform was empty and covered in dust. Platform Seven was closed, yet Evan stood there before midnight, holding a ticket he never bought. Morning came. Evan’s phone lay on Platform Seven. The train was never seen again. Inside, the air smelled rotten, and the windows reflected only darkness, not Evan’s face. One passenger turned and smiled too wide. “You missed your stop,” he whispered. 2 STORY B. "THE MIRROR THAT REMEMBERS" Lena tried to step back, but her body would not obey. “I remember how you died,” it said, speaking without moving its lips. One night, the reflection stood closer to the glass than before. When she wiped it clean, her reflection moved a second slower than she did. The reflection stepped forward, pulling Lena into the glass. At night, whispers leaked from the glass, soft voices she could almost understand. The mirror grew still again, holding Lena and all it remembered. Strange memories flashed—sirens, pain, and darkness rushing toward her. The mirror appeared overnight in Lena’s room, tall, old, and cracked along its dark frame. The mirror rippled like water, cold air pouring into the room. Soon, the reflection smiled when Lena did not and watched her without blinking. From inside, Lena watched the reflection walk into her life. 3 STORY C. "FOOTSTEPS ABOVE THE CEILING" A voice whispered, “Why did you leave me here?” Every night at 2:17 a.m., slow pacing echoed overhead. A crack spread across the ceiling like a wound. She blamed pipes and wood, anything that felt logical. The ceiling collapsed, revealing something wearing her face. The footsteps grew heavier, and dust began to fall. Mara remembered locking a door she was told never to open. Mara lived in a one-story house, so footsteps above her ceiling made no sense. Grey fingers pushed through, shaking as they searched. The house was later listed as empty for thirty years. Scratching followed, sharp nails dragging across plaster. The landlord laughed. “There is no attic,” he said. 4 STORY D. "THE RECORDING IN ROOM 404" Daniel turned slowly, heart racing. The label warned him: DO NOT LISTEN. The tape clicked and rewound itself. Nothing was there, but the air felt crowded. Daniel screamed as the lights went out. Daniel froze. The voice was his own. The recording described the room exactly as it was. Curiosity won, and static filled the room. A whisper followed: “He’s standing behind you.” Room 404 was sealed, but Daniel found a cassette inside during renovation. Then screaming erupted from the speakers. Room 404 remains sealed, yet guests hear tapes playing. 5 STORY E. "THE VILLAGE THAT SMILED TOO MUCH" By morning, Clara smiled without trying. At night, laughter echoed through empty streets. Everyone in the village smiled when Clara arrived. Her face began to ache from holding nothing. They welcomed her warmly and offered her food. Clara tried to leave the village at dawn. The road twisted and led her back. Their smiles were wide and never faded. The villagers gathered, still smiling silently. Mirrors showed her smiling when she wasn’t. “Now you belong,” they said together. No one blinked, even in bright sunlight.
