Explicación

A diferencia de otras áreas, los hablantes del área castellana conservan la pronunciación de las consonantes al final de la sílaba.

A excepción de las generaciones mayores y los habitantes de las zonas rurales, los hablantes del área castellana ya se consideran yeístas, por lo que pronuncian la "ll" y la "y" de la misma forma, sin distinciones.

Los nativos del área castellana distinguen los sonidos "s" y "z" al pronunciar, por lo que no son ceceantes ni seseantes. En otras palabras, cada letra "s", "c" y "z" tiene su propio sonido.
