Explicación

En las Islas Canarias la población sesea, lo que quiere decir que las letras "z", "c" (en "ce" y "ci") y "s" son siempre pronunciadas como "s".

El sonido de "ch" es más sonoro y alargado, y se percibe parecido a "y". Un ejemplo sería la palabra "muchacho", que sonaría parecida a "muyayo".

En el español de Canarias es común la aspiración, debilitamiento y pérdida de las consonantes en posición final de sílaba. Así, "luz" podría pronunciarse como "lu" o "lúh", por ejemplo.

Los canarios son yeístas, por lo que no realizan distinción entre los sonidos "ll" e "y" al pronunciar las palabras. Ambos sonidos son iguales.
