The Years' War ( 1337 ? 1453 ) were a series of between England and France . It all started because the Kings of England claimed they were the rightful of France , too . They wanted the land , the , and the glory .
England dominated early on with their deadly longbows , who could shoot arrows incredibly fast and far . But the tide turned when Joan of Arc the French to fight back . Joan of Arc was a girl who led the French army to victory because she believed told her to save her country .
the end , France reclaimed its land and pushed the English back across the sea .
