en el siglo XV y termina en el siglo XVI . Durante esta época se huye del teocentrismo y el ser humano pasa a ser el centro del Universo , lo que denominamos antropocentrismo .
En cuanto a la música , las composiciones tienen varias voces , es decir , es polifónica . Esta técnica se emplea para la música vocal e instrumental .
Se utilizan dos tipos de poilfonía : la homofonía y el contrapunto . En la primera se respeta una voz como principal y las otras voces la acompañan a diferentes alturas creando una idea vertical . En la segunda , todas las voces tienen igual importancia , se van imitando creando una idea horizontal .
