Contrary to what you think , the Playstation 2 is still the best - selling console of all time . Looking away when loading a game to make it work faster is a universal feeling that everyone experience at least once . But there be something special to make it relevant even today , right ?

One of the best aspects of this console was that you play anytype of game . For example , there were games about Lightning Mcqueen or The Simpsons . Another important element was making good games so people have fun while playing . Today , you enjoy a game without paying ( a lot ) to win . Lastly , there were a lot of games created to be played with your family or friends , similarly to board games .

These are some of the numerous reasons that make the Playstation 2 the legend that it is . However , Sony is aware of this and , apparently , is working on a new version to imitate the original . Only time will tell if this is only a marketing strategy , but one thing is sure : the spirit of the original remain .
