A Day to Remember : Ameena Watches Brunei's 42nd National Day Celebration !

BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN , Monday 23rd February 2026 ? What an day ! My name is Ameena , and today I was lucky enough to Brunei Darussalam's 42nd National Day celebration .

My family and I early this morning . Everyone wore bright yellow shirts to show for our country . We happily our Brunei flags as we found a good spot .

The celebration began with a powerful " Takbir ! " Thousands of people together , and the sound gave me .

Then His Majesty the Sultan arrived . The crowd with cheers !

The highlight of the day was the grand . There were magnificent floats decorated like traditional houses . School children marched in neat rows wearing beautiful . They danced to songs .

Suddenly someone shouted , " Look up ! " Colourful floated down from the sky like giant flowers . Each one carried a Brunei , fluttering gently against the blue sky .

After the parade , I felt so to be Bruneian . Happy 42nd Day , Brunei !
