Cuando estas palabras pasan al plural, la z cambia por c, por ejemplo luz → luces y pez → peces.

La C se escribe en palabras que terminan en -ción cuando provienen de -to o -tor, como director → dirección y actor → actuación.

La C aparece en diminutivos como pancito o florecita.

La C es responsable de la ortografía de todas las palabras que terminan en -ancia, sin excepción.
