ورقة عباد الشمس الأزرق تتحول إلى اللون الأحمر في المحاليل الحمضية.

الورقة تغير لونها بشكل عشوائي وليس بسبب pH.

التغيير اللوني يعتمد على قيمة pH المحلول.
