The Office Clash That Turned into a Win
Emma and Jake had never before , but lately , Emma felt Jake was not pulling his on their big project . Missed deadlines , vague emails started to their working relationship . At first , Emma kept quiet , but the stress was affecting her well - being .
One day , she decided to be and address the issue . " I feel like I ? m carrying most of the workload , " she said . Jake looked surprised . " I didn ? t realize that ! I ? ve been my ideas and hesitating to contribute . "
Instead of letting the tension set them , they agreed to take a different .
Emma helped Jake get the of certain tasks , and he started to buy into the project more . They also discussed small adjustments to avoid future minor .
Over time , Jake became more confident , and Emma noticed he was more to take initiative . By the deadline , not only was the project a success , but their teamwork had improved too .
Sometimes , all it takes is a conversation to turn a soured situation a fresh start !
