Passage 2 ? A Busy Morning at the Library
Last Friday , I went to the city library ( 1 ) 10 a . m . I had planned to stay there ( 2 ) nearly three hours to finish my research . The library is located ( 3 ) the main street , ( 4 ) the post office and the café .

Around me , students were quietly working . One boy was sitting ( 10 ) two bookshelves , reading carefully , while a girl was lying ( 11 ) the carpet near the magazines . A librarian walked ( 12 ) the aisle , organizing books ( 13 ) the shelves .

I spent most of the time writing notes ( 14 ) my notebook and occasionally looking ( 15 ) the clock ( 16 ) the wall . By 1 p . m . , I packed my things and left the library , heading ( 17 ) the café next door for a quick lunch .
