يُجزم الفعل المضارع إذا سُبِق بأداة نصب أو جزم.

من أدوات الجزم نذكر:لم-لمّا ولام الأمر.

من علامات جزم الفعل المضارع ثبوت النّون.

إذا كان الفعل المضارع معتلّ الآخر فهو يُجزم بحذف حرف العلّة.

أداة جزم المضارع الوحيدة هي لا الناهية فقط.

"لم يدرسا" هو فعل مضارع مجزوم وعلامة جزمه حذف النّون .

لمّا أداة جزم تفيد النّفي في الماضي والمستقبل.

أدوات الجزم تدخل على الأفعال الماضية والمضارعة على حدٍّ سواء.

علامة جزم الفعل "لم يدنُ" هي حذف حرف العلّة.
