Today , many people use the internet to talk , study , work , and share ideas . Because we see each other ? s faces online , it is important to follow good internet etiquette . Internet etiquette means polite and clear behaviour when a computer , phone , or tablet to communicate . First , always write messages in a simple and polite way . Use clear and easy words . When we write too fast , we can make mistakes , and other people may not understand us . It is a good to read your message one more time before sending it . Check your spelling and make sure your is clear . Second , remember that tone can be a problem online . When we speak , people can hear our voice . They can if we are happy , sad , or angry . But in a written message , tone is not easy to see . Because of this , using many capital letters . CAPITAL LETTERS look like shouting and may make people upset . Also , be careful with jokes . A joke may look online . If you want to use a joke , add a smiley face to show you are friendly . Third , always be . Do not send messages when you are angry . It is better to wait , relax , and write later . Do not share personal about yourself or other people . Respect privacy , and do not post photos of others without permission . Finally , ask if you do not understand a message . It is better to check than to make a mistake . If someone you , explain your idea again in a kind way . Good internet etiquette helps everyone feel safe and comfortable online . When we clearly and politely , we can avoid many problems and build better .
