La Edad Media es un periodo de la historia que transcurre entre los S . ( con la caída del imperio ) y el S . ( con el descubrimiento de ) . Esta a su vez se divide en tres fases : Alta Edad Media , Plena Edad Media y Baja Edad Media .

En la primera etapa , conocida como Edad Media , es una fase en la cual se acaba de producir la caída del Imperio Romano y sus territorios son ocupados por una gran cantidad de pueblos como : visigodos , , anglosajones , vikingos , musulmanes . . .

En la segunda etapa las características que presenta la Edad Media son diferentes y la mayoría de los reinos de Europa empiezan a adoptar el .

Al final encontramos la Edad Media ; a punto de finalizar esta etapa de la historia , el feudalismo entra algo en crisis y da paso a la conocida como Edad . Aquí nos habla también de la importancia de la religión católica y de los dos estilos artísticos más importantes del medievo : el Arte Románico y el Arte .
