Revisit basic rules to make and do.

1

We use DO when the result of an action is not a physical object.

2

MAKE is often referring to something that was not there before, something recent or new that has just been created.

3

We use MAKE for producting something new from scratch.

4

To talk about repetitive skills, jobs and simple actions we use DO.

5

We can use DO to talk about preparing a meal (Ex. __ some breakfast, __ a drink, __ you an iced coffee).

6

To refer to something that produces a sound (Ex. you shoes __ a weird sound when they touch the floor) we use MAKE.

7

When you're creating something new you use MAKE, when you talk about an action or chore you use DO.
