Tag questions are short questions added to the end of a sentence in English to confirm information or ask for the listener's opinion. They are formed with an auxiliary verb and a pronoun that refers back to the subject of the main clause, and generally follow an opposite structure: if the clause is affirmative, the tag question is negative (You are tired, aren't you?), and if it is negative, the tag question is affirmative (You don't like coffee, do you?).
