Megalodón
El megalodón habitó el durante el Período y el , se encontraron restos en todos los océanos . Pertenece al lamniforme , su podía alcanzar una longitud de entre 14 y 20 metros con un peso aproximado de 50 . Es una de las especies que consiguió por mucho tiempo , gracias a su fortaleza física , su capacidad para adaptarse y claro está , un asesino que le hacía ser uno de los depredadores prehistóricos más que se encontraban en el mar .
Su nombre tiene un significado que lo definía por completo . El megalodón significa " diente " ya que sus dientes podían medir alrededor de los 20 centímetros y estaban confeccionados para devorar y destrozar a sus . Se ha constatado que cuenta con una estructura de dientes muy parecida a la del tiburón blanco y durante su vida va de sus dientes , volviéndoles a nacer otros nuevos con más fuerza . Si comparamos la del Megalodon con la del Tiranosaurio Rex , podremos comprobar que la de este animal marino es hasta 5 veces más fuerte que la del reptil pudiendo alimentarse de prácticamente cualquier animal .
Su está relacionada con la falta de prehistóricas , que constataban su principal fuente de , y al no existir estas , se fueron extinguiendo los megalodones .
