Para multiplicar fracciones, se multiplican numeradores entre sí y denominadores entre sí.

Si se multiplica por 0, el resultado es 0.

Ejemplo: 2/3 x 4/5 = 8/15.

Si no hay factores comunes entre numeradores y denominadores, no se puede simplificar en ningún caso.

2/3 x 9/4 = 2/3

El resultado siempre es mayor que cualquiera de los fraccionarios que se multiplican.

Para multiplicar fracciones hay que convertir a decimales antes de multiplicar.

Si una fracción es entera, se escribe como n/1 y se multiplica igual.

Al multiplicar fracciones, se suman los numeradores y denominadores.

El producto se puede simplificar dividiendo el numerador y el denominador por un mismo factor.
