Los textos discontinuos son aquellos que se realizan con dibujos, imagenes, recuadros, con textos cortos como las graficas de barras, los digramas, los mapas, etc.

Los textos continuos son aquellos que tienen parrafos largos y conectan las ideas de forma continua como los cuentos, las cartas, la noticia, etc.

Las gráficas de barras no son texto discontinuos.

En textos discontinuos, la información no siempre sigue una estructura lineal.

Los textos continuos presentan ideas en parrafos o textos completos como las cartas o los cuentos.
