El VIH / SIDA es una enfermedad cuya se relaciona con un virus que afecta el sistema inmunológico . Su ocurre principalmente por contacto con sangre , relaciones sexuales sin protección y de madre a hijo durante el embarazo , parto o lactancia . Entre los pueden presentarse fiebre , pérdida de peso , infecciones frecuentes y debilidad general .

El consiste en terapias antirretrovirales que permiten controlar el virus y mejorar la calidad de vida . La es fundamental e incluye el uso de preservativos , pruebas periódicas y evitar el contacto con fluidos contaminados .

Las personas que viven con VIH tienen laborales , como la no discriminación y la confidencialidad de su estado de salud . Además , existen de en centros de salud y organizaciones especializadas que brindan información , apoyo y acompañamiento .
