Deciding what to buy used to be simple . You went to the store , picked the only brand available , and went home . Today , options we have , the more difficult the process becomes . Psychologists suggest that having an infinite array of choices isn't liberating as it seems .

There are two types of shoppers : the satisficer and the maximizer . the " satisficer , " who looks for an option that is " , " the " maximizer " strives to find the absolute best possible deal . The maximizer will spend hours researching , the satisficer makes a choice as soon as their basic criteria are met .

After all , it is important to remember that the isn't the choice itself , but your commitment to making it work for you .
