Al enfrentarse a una hemorragia arterial el torniquete sirve para presionar las gasas y que estas no caigan

En hemorragia arterial, aplicar presión directa sobre la herida con vendaje limpio es prioritario.

Si me enfrento a una epistaxis una de las indicaciones es inclinar la cabeza hacia atrás en mayor ángulo

Si hay sangrado abundante, elevar la extremidad por encima del nivel del corazón ayuda a disminuir el flujo.

Después de aplicar un vendaje, verificar la circulación distal para asegurarse de que no hay oclusión.
