Las lanzas, mazos, cuchillos y flechas facilitaron la transición de vida nómada a sedentaria (agricultura y pesca).

Martillos, serruchos y tijeras facilitaron la construcción de viviendas y la reparación de objetos.

Los artefactos de piedra, hueso y marfil se usaban para cazar, machacar y elaborar prendas.

La transición a la vida sedentaria ocurrió sin relación con la agricultura ni la pesca.

Las primeras computadoras como ENIAC y Z3 no tenían relación con el procesamiento de información ni la resolución de problemas.
