Explanation

Izzy/the stationary object flies backward do to the amount of transfer of energy from the moving object to the stationary.

The golf ball will bounce higher. This is due to the transfer of energy between the ground, basketball, and bounce ball into the golf ball.

The basketball bounces the least due to the amount of compression put on the ball from the ground and the balls on top.

Two balls will swing on the right and left side of the cradle. This is due the transfer of equal energy through the remaining stationary balls. Since there is enough energy moving through to move two balls, two swing.

With Newton's cradle is an example of conservation of energy, due to the friction, sound, and heat needed to keep the cradle going energy is lost. This slows the cradle over time and causes it to stop.
