Las normas APA son un conjunto de reglas creadas por la American Psychological Association para presentar trabajos académicos y citar fuentes correctamente.

El tamaño recomendado de la fuente es Times New Roman 11 puntos en todo momento.

El formato general no incluye DOI ni URL y no se aceptan enlaces en las referencias.

La única forma de citar es la cita textual; la parafraseada no existe en APA.

El formato general incluye autor, año de publicación, título y editorial o URL/DOI; hay sangría, orden alfabético y datos completos.

Las normas APA exigen usar comillas para todas las citas textuales sin excepción.

El DOI se presenta como enlace (https://doi.org/...). Ya no es obligatorio poner "Recuperado de".

Existen citaciones textuales y citaciones para texto, con ejemplos de cita parentética y narrativa.

Las referencias no deben ir en la lista de referencias.
