Siempre es aceptable usar ideas de un autor sin citarlas si cambias algunas palabras.

La citación adecuada evita el plagio al atribuir ideas a sus autores.

La ética de citación permite presentar ideas ajenas como propias si se venden después.

Se debe citar toda idea, dato o argumento que no sea de dominio público o de conocimiento común.

Citar fuentes en el cuerpo no es necesario si ya hay bibliografía al final.

Citar textualmente debe incluir comillas y la fuente exacta, y la página si aplica.

Existen diferentes estilos de citación (APA, MLA, Chicago, IEEE) con normas específicas.

Los parafraseos deben reformular con tus propias palabras y aún así citar la fuente.

Las citas no deben incluir ni la fuente ni la página cuando se parafrasea.
