Un partido se divide en dos tiempos de 45 minutos cada uno.

En un partido de fútbol, cada equipo tiene 11 jugadores en cancha.

Se concede un penalti cuando ocurre una falta dentro del área de penalti del equipo defendido.

El saque de banda se concede cuando la pelota sale por la línea de meta.

El gol se marca cuando la pelota cruza completamente la línea de gol entre los postes y por debajo del travesaño.

Los porteros pueden tocar la pelota con las manos en cualquier lugar del campo.

Un tiro libre indirecto en el área se ejecuta sin necesidad de que la pelota toque a otro jugador.

El fuera de juego se sanciona si un atacante recibe el balón estando más cerca de la meta que el penúltimo defensor y el balón.
