1. Las telecomunicaciones comenzaron a la mitad del siglo XIX con el invento del telégrafo eléctrico.

2. El 17 de mayo fue declarado como el Día Mundial de las Telecomunicaciones (o día del internet) por la Unión Internacional de Telecomunicaciones.

3. Un sistema de comunicación básico está formado exclusivamente por un emisor y un receptor.
