Kwangen berfungsi sebagai pengantar perasaan hati kita kepada . Karena itu perlu digunakan bunga yang , , dan harum . Jika tidak ada kwangen , dapat diganti dengan .

Ayu dan teman - teman kemudian menyiapkan sarana pembuatan kwangen yaitu :
1 . yang terbuat dari daun .
2 . Pelawa atau kayu .
