About this activity
To help students quickly revise important concepts of the circulatory system in an active and fun way.
Materials needed:
Small paper cards or flashcards
Marker/pen
Board or desk space
Tape/magnets (optional)
Preparation:
Write terms on one set of cards (for example: Heart, Arteries, Veins, Capillaries, Hemoglobin, Systole, Diastole).
Write their functions/definitions on another set of cards.
How to conduct:
Divide the class into 2–3 teams.
Mix all cards and place them on a table or board.
One student from each team comes forward.
They must match the correct term with its function/definition within a set time (for example 30–60 seconds).
Correct matches earn points for the team.
The term with the highest score wins.
