El pulso del poema, la musicalidad que se genera mediante pausas, repeticiones y la longitud de palabras.

Las palabras que 'besan' al final. La rima une sonidos al final de las líneas (ej. casa-masa), haciendo el poema memorable y divertido. Tipos: consonante o asonante.

La métrica cuenta sílabas por verso para equilibrar (ej. octosílabo: 8 sílabas). Ayuda a que el poema 'cante' uniformemente.
